I'm offering fic for $1 (or less?) here and here. And graphics, eeeh, though I should probably be offering not to make them instead. Personally I find it easier to donate through local means, but if anyone has a spare dollar...I'm here?

It's not just a short-term disaster right now, is it? Earthquakes are still occurring at high frequency. And the nuclear outburst might mean long-term radiation pollution. The government here are highly discouraging people (one step away from forbidding, really) from visiting Tokyo, and I think the radiation level there is already three times more than usual? I'm no expert on this, but it doesn't take much to know that's bad news. I had plans of visiting Tokyo this year, but I might have to pick somewhere more stable now. I don't normally pray (not sure who/what to pray to...), but for what it's worth, please let things settle down soon.

Unrelated, but I ship White/N now, I think. As expected from me.

...So, J-web has a message from every group. Me and my friends jokingly calls them assigned homework for each group, but it doesn't make their messages any less heartbreaking. I don't know what it is about KinKi's message that touches me deeper than any other, though. Maybe it's because there's only two of them. Maybe it's the words. Maybe it's because I kept listening to KinKi Kids/Tsuyoshi's songs because they've been fitting my mood. Maybe it's because it's them.

What happened to today's Endless SHOCK, translated from a Chinese source.

At one o'clock, everyone's already sitting in the theater, but the show hasn't started. Ten minutes later, Koichi came out and explained that the lifters hanging from the ceiling were damaged during the earthquake. Although the staff spent all night repairing and everyone's on standby, Koichi continues to wonder what he should do. Despite saying 'show must go on', even in the show there's the message 'stopping to think is also necessary'. He remembers the Hanshin Earthquake, how he was feeling what the people near the disaster areas much be feeling now, and with everyone he decided that they should cancel today's shows. He wishes to start the show when everything's less unstable.

After that all the performers came on staff and said some more things and bowed. The audience left row by row, and Koichi stood in the hall and shook everyone's hands with both his hands. The theater also announced that Koichi would be making the same announcement for the night show.

...DIRECTOR-SAMA. ;______________________;

I can't imagine how difficult this decision must have been for Koichi. He's always been the type to go on no matter what, but...instead of show, LIFE MUST GO ON, you idiot. ;__;

It's impossible to live in Taiwan and not be reminded of 921. It's difficult to carry on with life when you once again realize that the Earth could take away everything in a few seconds, but, at least for Tokyo, life starts once more tomorrow. I keep thinking I'm unaffected, but I've also been thinking about this nonstop for the last two days. Monday, please be a better day.

Happy 30th Birthday, DOMOTO KOICHI-!!

Congratulations on reaching thirty years old. And sorry about being so late. I tried to come up with something, but in the end I'm still empty handed. So - a kinda not-really letter:

Dear Koichi,

You love kindergarten level jokes. Especially kindergarten level dirty jokes. You get excited talking about toilets - you say you don't use the restroom and you let it all out into the air; you ask what's the toilet for and you love imitating toilets.

You're always complaining about being tired, you've been said to not move at all after work, but you still face your job seriously.

You shout 'Ugly!' and 'Shut up!' to your fans, but I'd do anything to hear you shout that in real life. We all love hearing it anyway, though if it were anyone other idol I might try reaching into my screen to punch them. But because it's you and your ridiculous smile, I'd gladly hear it a thousand times.

You don't listen to your guests, but you're still the perfect host because you're you. You sometimes keep talking and ignore everyone else but you insist there's nothing wrong.

You also insist that your drawing's are perfect. And truly, from an artistic point of view...they're still horrible. Sorry, Koichi. They're all a work of art though. Only because they're drawn by you.

You said you're sealing the whole toupee topic because you're thirty, but I doubt you would be able to. Can you resist making fun of your own hair? More, importantly, can the fans resist?...But still, your soft hair that has you stuck in the same hairstyle forever and your cat-ear dye is my favorite. Not that you can change much about it, but please don't anyway. :)

I love making fun of you, but you're also the first idol I've ever respected so stupidly much.

Please remember to eat. Being too lazy to buy food is not a good excuse for eating a single bread for an entire day, especially after live shows and recordings. And please, take care while doing next year's Endless SHOCK performance. Having to continue such a difficult show at thirty years old...Falling off stairs, for god's sake. REMEMBER TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.

Love, another fan.

And now I dive into a hole after embarrassing myself for shameless love.

Which means no TOKIO this countdown. *despairs*

No Taichi's funny faces, no KinKi Kids' ninja tactics (they're so good at disappearing!), no HAPPY BIRTHDAY KO-CHAN after countdown. Unless KinKi appears somewhere else, how else would we be able to greet Koichi-kun happy birthday? *cries* And no TOKIO at all. HOW IS IT NEW YEAR WITHOUT TOKIO?

Arashi, NEWS, Kanjani8 and KAT-TUN. Where did Hey!Say!JUMP disappear to? Akanishi has quite a few friends outside KAT-TUN, but aside from him KAT-TUN is like a world of their own. Nakamaru knows Masuda but they don't interact at all on stage, and the rest...just don't seem like friends. *cough* Probably know Kanjani8 a little too, but I don't pay attention to Osaka so I don't have a clue about that. MatsuJun's well acquainted (?) with Akanishi and Nishikido, and Ninomiya probably has a few friends, but the others all seem to be in a world of their own as well? I WANT J-FRIENDS-!!

I get the whole merchandise thing, I do. I mean, it's obvious young people these days probably don't know that much about J-Friends. I don't, not really. So people would want to celebrate new years with celebrities they know of instead of the older ones, and the agency wants to focus on those ticket-buyers.

But the older generation actually all know each other and really seem like friends! *continues whining*

...And okay. Koichi said they would probably return to Tokyo Dome during 2009-2010 countdown. But what about the concert? New Year's Tokyo Dome has been KinKi Kids for so long. I don't mind if another band outside Johnny's take over, but if it's a 'younger' Johnny's group...I might start slaughtering NEWS fans. Like my cousin. Even if they're cute and she's really nice.

And Tackey&Tsubasa totally disappeared. They're not selling, but wiping them off the surface of Earth seems a little extreme, doesn't it? And Tackey's new solo album with cameo from Yamapi and Yokoyama and who the hell remembers else...Is like a gathering of guys who can't sing. Sorry, but. You know.

WHY DO I FALL IN LOVE WITH THE WEIRDEST PAIRINGS EVER. ALWAYS. Like, seriously, I like Akanishi/Nakamaru because it is ridiculous and they enjoy teasing each other so much. And then later I decide that I might be starting to ship Kitayama/Senga. Yes, those two from Johnny's Juniors. Because they also enjoy teasing each other so much, even if it's mostly one-sided. It started out as a crack pairing, only it's not anymore and I really like it. I am in DESPAIR because seriously, I'm probably the only person on this planet that would ever ship them.

Also. Fan reports about the KAT-TUN concerts lately are popping up everywhere. I kind of wonder whether I'd ever want to actually go to a concert, because I hate crowds and large noises. Arashi is coming to Taiwan this year - wonder how that'd go?

ANYWAY, back to the teasing Akanishi/Nakamaru. Apparently, during one MC, Nakamaru teased Akanishi by lying that his fly's open. Akanichi checked (ha!) and then asked if Nakamaru was deliberately paying attention because he wanted to look at that part of him. HA they are so RIDICULOUS. They also competed at something. And while promoting that thing Akanishi's voicing for, Nakamaru acted out as the female actor.

Also, aieee FiVe!!!!!!1 They're like either concert-only or nonexistent now, it's so sad. Except they do sort of occasionally appear in magazine photoshoots, which is kind of weird but I guess Johnnys just randomly sell.

...And, oh dear, I think my mom is interested in KAT-TUN. She was watching Anego on television (reruns, I think?) and then watching Yukan Club on YouTube, then she mentions KAT-TUN while I was listening to KinKi Kids (sorry, I still prefer spending money on KinKi Kids CDs), and started telling me about Johnny's Entertainment and how those two from KinKi are thirty years old. And today she also picked up a Wink Up magazine with KAT-TUN on the cover, which she of course didn't buy because if she did I'd probably have to eat the book in the end.

Life is weird like that. And also? I really love weird pairings. It's, like, cosmo chaos. No I'm not meant to make sense, at least I can speak enough English to teach six grade math. Which is what I've been doing this past week. My first time speaking in English for more than one sentence at a time in three years! Teaching math! HAHA.

There's also this part when I was about to enter a changing room after swimming, but a guy (NOT anyone I know, just a random guy) goes in first and I try meekly to tell him this is the female changing room but either fails to or the guy's pervert. Either way, I walk out, and stand there in the hallway wondering what I should do. Someone tells me there's another changing room upstairs and I went there to change.
