It's been a while since I key-smashed my way through a post, so I decided I totally need to do it again.

I found out that Kanjani8 guested on Shounen Club in September 2003, and decided to watch that before dying from sleep deprivation. These might have fit better on Twitter, except I realized that if I posted everything on Twitter, I'll spam the precious few people that actually friended me for some unfathomable reason.

Many jokes are made at the expense of the people involved actually debuting in the future. Don't read if you're sensitive on that subject?

Running commentary and fangirling. )

I want to watch SUMMARY 2004 tomorrow. Maybe I'll do this again? xD SUMMARY was what really got me into the whole Johnnys business, beside the few people I liked back then. And I found a copy of a SUMMARY 2004 DVD...I want it so badly, but I'm not sure I can afford dishing out the money. Which means I need to rewatch it in its entirety to be certain, of course.

I've been a KAT-TUN for nearly a year now (minus January), and a Johnny's fan for about the same time. I've moved from KAT-TUN to NEWS (briefly), KinKi Kids to Johnny's Jrs. (mostly Tokyo). My first contact (I consider them alien life-forms xD) with Johnny's began with Nobuta wo Produce, which without the narrative would have been quite boring. ANYWAY. I was introduced to the ridiculousness that is Johnny's Entertainment, and while I think a friend of mine defriended me because of it, I can't seem to pull away.

Most of this is what I concluded from the information I've read and may not be correct, but they're my opinions and please do respect that. Again, I don't claim to own to anything of JE. Except a few CDs.

Recommended songs are not necessarily my favorites. These are songs that I think really represent the group, whether I like the song or not.

Kondou Masahiko, Shounentai, Hikaru Genji and others excluded because they debuted before I was born. Although some of their songs are really classics that people should try out.

After writing, I realized that instead of writing my personal experience with Johnnys, I wrote down my thoughts on Johnnys' history. So this turned into some sort of recap on what I learned and other bits of information that I thought interesting. I also kind of found out how much worse my neglected English skills have dropped, so I might start writing again recently to attempt at regaining some of that. *sweatdrops* Not sure what I can do with this, but it was fun. Not sharing this anywhere else in fear of fan!wank. This is probably only interesting to me anyway xD

So, the latest Shounen Club was in Osaka, and while I'm glad the Kansai Jrs. got some more screentime, I don't know them well and I view them as a whole, so it's more like a general "Go Osaka!!" then a fangirl squee for particular people I enjoy mocking watching.

During the SUMMER medley (oh, the creativity!), Nakamaru started to sing Peak, one of my favorite KAT-TUN songs. I was going YAY and also watching the Kansai Jrs. dancing because they do have a different style and it's refreshing. Then people in golden suits jump in (bad dress alert), but that's not the important part because BUTOUKAN!!!!!1 I know they're getting a little too much appearance lately, and it's just like me to read on who's going on SC before and not now, but I still got excited because Senga and Tsuka-chan is there.

Screencaps and a repost, kind-of picspam about the recent episode. )

Next week, they're still in Osaka and Butoukan is there again with Sweet Butterfly while Nakamaru performs SMACK. And because I am not one of those that got to see a performance in a concert, it'd be my first time seeing it live.

The B.A.D. boys (Kiriyama Akito and Nakama Junta) and Takaki Yuuya was in Taiwan for an award ceremony thing that has had a lot of previous Johnny members for promoting. This time, it's probably for the drama and Hey!Say!JUMP, but according to reports they didn't do quite well. Takaki was probably too nervous, and his voice trembled too much. One thing they did though, was sing live, and at least people credit them for the courage and work.

People are wondering if it means Hey!Say!JUMP would be coming to Taiwan soon, but personally? I think it's unlikely. Just listing one reason why not, they're mostly minors for now, and the agency has to worry about work time limits and child benefits. Maybe that's why they sent Arashi this year, because at least they've got a safe fanbase and experience.

I still wonder and amaze at how Johnny will manage HSJ three years or even five years later. Growth spurt? Voice change? Boys with hormones? Minors turning adults? And remember, there's ten of them. Oh dear.

With siblings, an older sibling will usually feel a sense of superiority, at least with things like schoolwork or relationships where they've more experience with and just know more about when they're young. But once they reach adulthood, the siblings are more or less equals, going towards different directions.

I just realized that when Kitayama and Senga first met, Senga really was so young (SUMMARY 2004 anyone?), while Kitayama hasn't changed all that much. There's bound to conflict in there. Therefore, this fic.

Warning: Since some people feel the need to warn about het, while others need to warn about female characters, I chose to warn you about FRIENDSHIP. Oh, and the title graphic is kind of terrible, but you've probably already seen it so there's not much point in warning you about it.

...And there's Senga, wearing pure white in contrast to the bright blue-and-red signature outfit of Kis-My-Ft2 that Kitayama's wearing. )

I do dearly hope this wasn't too confusing. I've never had anyone beta my fics, so they're usually just whatever comes from my mind, and I'm afraid I went a little crazy with this one because it's been a long while since I could write anything down at all.

WHY DO I FALL IN LOVE WITH THE WEIRDEST PAIRINGS EVER. ALWAYS. Like, seriously, I like Akanishi/Nakamaru because it is ridiculous and they enjoy teasing each other so much. And then later I decide that I might be starting to ship Kitayama/Senga. Yes, those two from Johnny's Juniors. Because they also enjoy teasing each other so much, even if it's mostly one-sided. It started out as a crack pairing, only it's not anymore and I really like it. I am in DESPAIR because seriously, I'm probably the only person on this planet that would ever ship them.

Also. Fan reports about the KAT-TUN concerts lately are popping up everywhere. I kind of wonder whether I'd ever want to actually go to a concert, because I hate crowds and large noises. Arashi is coming to Taiwan this year - wonder how that'd go?

ANYWAY, back to the teasing Akanishi/Nakamaru. Apparently, during one MC, Nakamaru teased Akanishi by lying that his fly's open. Akanichi checked (ha!) and then asked if Nakamaru was deliberately paying attention because he wanted to look at that part of him. HA they are so RIDICULOUS. They also competed at something. And while promoting that thing Akanishi's voicing for, Nakamaru acted out as the female actor.

Also, aieee FiVe!!!!!!1 They're like either concert-only or nonexistent now, it's so sad. Except they do sort of occasionally appear in magazine photoshoots, which is kind of weird but I guess Johnnys just randomly sell.

...And, oh dear, I think my mom is interested in KAT-TUN. She was watching Anego on television (reruns, I think?) and then watching Yukan Club on YouTube, then she mentions KAT-TUN while I was listening to KinKi Kids (sorry, I still prefer spending money on KinKi Kids CDs), and started telling me about Johnny's Entertainment and how those two from KinKi are thirty years old. And today she also picked up a Wink Up magazine with KAT-TUN on the cover, which she of course didn't buy because if she did I'd probably have to eat the book in the end.

Life is weird like that. And also? I really love weird pairings. It's, like, cosmo chaos. No I'm not meant to make sense, at least I can speak enough English to teach six grade math. Which is what I've been doing this past week. My first time speaking in English for more than one sentence at a time in three years! Teaching math! HAHA.

p.s. I am also thinking about shipping Totsuka Shota/Yamashita Shoon. Because they are both completely insane on stage. And they enjoy it.

p.p.s. I wouldn't mind Tsukada/Senga.

So I finally got around to watch the latest Shounen Club (slow, I know) and ohmygodyay Butoukan!! I mean, I knew they were going to be on stage, but its still wonderful to see the whole crew, since the last time they were there two members were missing. I love their costume, though the new song is basically a very JE song that doesn't stir my interest.

-But!

DID I KNOW SENGA KENTO CAN DO ONE-HAND BACKFLIPS??? I know blackflips are common among the juniors, but I totally did not expect Senga to just do it that easily! I don't think we've ever seen him do it, and one-handed nonetheless. Or are one-handed ones easier? I have no idea. But OMG SENGA!!!

And A.B.C. with Nakamaru popping in because he just had to sing that song!

Wrinkling edges!! Hee, Nakamaru, why are you so fluffy? And thanks Koyama for being plain awesome and having screentime at the weirdest time. Sadly I couldn't understand what they're talking about, but I'm pretty sure Koyama's just making fun of Nakamaru while the guy rejoices at being able to sing that song.

...On the other hand, I just graduated from high school. I'm not sure what to think, except its just another rite of passage and everything. After six years of being on the same campus, I'm finally leaving it. But I don't really write about my personal life in this journal anyway, so...shutting up.
