I just want to see Massu dance again. My original wish is no longer in the realm of possibility, so please, I just want to see that boy dance again.

edit: couldn't upload it in higher definition, but in case anyone wants this, here's a piece of memory.

I'm offering fic for $1 (or less?) here and here. And graphics, eeeh, though I should probably be offering not to make them instead. Personally I find it easier to donate through local means, but if anyone has a spare dollar...I'm here?

It's not just a short-term disaster right now, is it? Earthquakes are still occurring at high frequency. And the nuclear outburst might mean long-term radiation pollution. The government here are highly discouraging people (one step away from forbidding, really) from visiting Tokyo, and I think the radiation level there is already three times more than usual? I'm no expert on this, but it doesn't take much to know that's bad news. I had plans of visiting Tokyo this year, but I might have to pick somewhere more stable now. I don't normally pray (not sure who/what to pray to...), but for what it's worth, please let things settle down soon.

Unrelated, but I ship White/N now, I think. As expected from me.

...So, J-web has a message from every group. Me and my friends jokingly calls them assigned homework for each group, but it doesn't make their messages any less heartbreaking. I don't know what it is about KinKi's message that touches me deeper than any other, though. Maybe it's because there's only two of them. Maybe it's the words. Maybe it's because I kept listening to KinKi Kids/Tsuyoshi's songs because they've been fitting my mood. Maybe it's because it's them.

What happened to today's Endless SHOCK, translated from a Chinese source.

At one o'clock, everyone's already sitting in the theater, but the show hasn't started. Ten minutes later, Koichi came out and explained that the lifters hanging from the ceiling were damaged during the earthquake. Although the staff spent all night repairing and everyone's on standby, Koichi continues to wonder what he should do. Despite saying 'show must go on', even in the show there's the message 'stopping to think is also necessary'. He remembers the Hanshin Earthquake, how he was feeling what the people near the disaster areas much be feeling now, and with everyone he decided that they should cancel today's shows. He wishes to start the show when everything's less unstable.

After that all the performers came on staff and said some more things and bowed. The audience left row by row, and Koichi stood in the hall and shook everyone's hands with both his hands. The theater also announced that Koichi would be making the same announcement for the night show.

...DIRECTOR-SAMA. ;______________________;

I can't imagine how difficult this decision must have been for Koichi. He's always been the type to go on no matter what, but...instead of show, LIFE MUST GO ON, you idiot. ;__;

It's impossible to live in Taiwan and not be reminded of 921. It's difficult to carry on with life when you once again realize that the Earth could take away everything in a few seconds, but, at least for Tokyo, life starts once more tomorrow. I keep thinking I'm unaffected, but I've also been thinking about this nonstop for the last two days. Monday, please be a better day.

Tsunami warnings for the western Pacific coast.

Taiwan seems to be alright for now, at least. It's scary to realize that 8.8 is about 180 times stronger than the Hanshin quake (7.3), though it seems to be in a more rural area and it's in afternoon (hello midnight earthquakes of Taiwan...), so the main damage isn't coming from the quake. What's really scary is the tsunami that's effecting everywhere right now o__O

What really impresses me is the general attitude the Japanese has towards this catastrophe. Normally I don't actually like the Japanese much (lol surprise), but how their media can remain calm and respectful and everyone's cooperating is just so very impressive, especially compared to Taiwan. (Urgh, the Taiwanese media is AWFUL. Every news station here reports things like they're writing horror stories/movies instead of professionally.) How they're calmly trying to spread the news around news, retweeting information including contact info for Taiwanese without phones and trying to encourage people to speak to foreigners...THAT'S the way to react, Taiwanese government/people.

On a side note (compared to the entire Japan, that is), a small luck is that the quake hit during intermission for SHOCK, which made getting out of the theater easier. This totally reminds me of J-friends, but I'm guessing if Johnnys decides to do something it would be with the younger groups. Still, all this is unimportant for now. Just.

EVERYONE. BE AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE AND GOOD LUCK. ;_____;

edit: according to someone, everyone in Tokyo received a text message saying 'an earthquake will arrive in Tokyo 15 seconds later, please immediately take refuge' before the second/?? wave. once again, impressed by their reaction speed and attitude. o_O

Dug this up. Something I wrote on 2007-09-30, while preparing for exams. I wanted to hand this in as my homework, except my teacher would probably kill me.

See, there's this guy named Tom, and he works as a drag queen in a gay bar, located at bumfuck nowhere. His name is actually completely irrelevant, but in order to tell this story of we need to name both our characters so we don't get them mixed up. Anyway, there's this other guy, which we'd name Bob (admit it, Bob is an awesome name, the Builder and children's cartoons aside). So, long story put short, Bob thought Tom was a girl since he apparently can't tell the difference between straight and gay - after all, he's a fictional character that just happens to fall in true!lurv with the wrong gender. After a huge crapload of confusion and questioning, Tom decided to quit his job 'cause guess what - he's actually straight as an arrow, which means he's pretending to be straight but might just change his mind if the right person decides to sway his preference. Bob turned out to be just plain awful at romance, so in the end he accidentally married the altar in the church.

But - because all good stories should have a twist at the end, this not at all a good story notwithstanding - Tom set the wrong candle on fire in his second year of college, and his drag attire burned away. He sadly decided to bury the remains in the graveyard, but unfortunately even as he bought an entire coffin just for this, the graveyard refused to let him buy a piece of land for his beloved clothing. And, as all stories turn out, the knight in not-so-shining armour turned up to save the day - in other words, Bob (along with his wife, the altar) works as a professional gravedigger, so he managed to dig a perfect standard six-feet grave in Tom's backyard for him. And here we shall conclude the story with how you can meet the kind of friend that understand your grief in a gay bar, even if you're both so very not gay.

I thereby announce this to be the only piece of literature I've ever wrote.

I am a terrible Jared!fan. I mean, I never really fangirl over his photos or screencaps, but I pay attention to his career and everything, so I thought I counted as a fan. Until just now, while I was flipping through the movie-showing list on the newspaper, and realized that The Christmas Cottage is in theaters right now. Proof here.

Only one theater, but still. Since when did they start buying such movies to show in Taiwan? *clueless*

I don't have the money to spare right now (and I'm really not interested in such movies, not even going to download it), so I'm still bad!fan all around. Just, was really surprised because apparently they distribute these movies in small countries. I laugh at the...IDK. Whatever.
