I keep thinking about what I could write while playing Pokemon Diamond. Didn't do much in the game, but decided to mix JE with pokemon by having each of them master a single type of pokemon.

No idea what I'm going to do with this verse. But it was fun deciding everyone's element. Only including KinKi Kids, Arashi, KAT-TUN and NEWS because there are too many juniors and I don't know the senior groups well enough.

If Johnny's Agency was a pokemon league...

Includes long rant about why I chose each person's type and various other information. Probably uninteresting, but meh xD )

Images from BulbaPedia, don't own the pokemons or the Johnnys. I just have a lot of fun playing with them.

My school doesn't seem to want us to take courses. I can't get into any of the extra courses I want, since nearly all of them are full - and the rest will collide with other classes I'm already taking. The same thing happened this semester; it's not, are you sure you want us to study? Also, there are no classes on Wednesday. At all. The only thing I can do on Wednesday is sleep and prepare for my other classes because there's nothing open on Wednesday. Lazy professors.

How do I say this...second secondary language? )

Here's to hoping I can get in Japanese - or any course, actually - next semester. *click*

Also, the JE fandom is insane. Rant about needing a gen fandom. )

Next up, I blame the Asian tour for making Arashi popular everywhere these days. There are SO MANY new fans around me. The good thing is, most of them are sane compared to [censored]. And I'm trying very hard to restrain myself from joining fandom, so I have a very clean memory of them that's not tainted by extreme opinions. I'm still trying to recover from the experience of being scarred by the KAT-TUN fandom.

I don't quite get exactly why they're suddenly so popular (I mean, it's not like they're doing anything different from three years ago), but they're fun. And mostly, they're brilliantly stupid. Or stupidly brilliant. )

I need to stop judging how interesting someone is because of how much fail they're made of.

So, I saw this Microfic Meme around, in which you try to write ten different categories of fic in ten words or less. It's not actually much of a story, but it's fun. I changed the categories of the one I saw because a) I don't write smut and b) too many categories seemed so alike.

The Microfic Meme, featuring Sakurai Sho and friends. ) And because I'm bored, I may be lengthening some of those into drabbles.

I've been a KAT-TUN for nearly a year now (minus January), and a Johnny's fan for about the same time. I've moved from KAT-TUN to NEWS (briefly), KinKi Kids to Johnny's Jrs. (mostly Tokyo). My first contact (I consider them alien life-forms xD) with Johnny's began with Nobuta wo Produce, which without the narrative would have been quite boring. ANYWAY. I was introduced to the ridiculousness that is Johnny's Entertainment, and while I think a friend of mine defriended me because of it, I can't seem to pull away.

WARNING: If you're a rapid fan of JE and can't stand anyone criticizing your idols, please don't read. Most of this is what I concluded from the information I've read and may not be correct, but they're my opinions and please do respect that. Again, I don't claim to own to anything of JE. Except a few CDs.

Recommended songs are not necessarily my favorites. These are songs that I think really represent the group, whether I like the song or not.

Pardon the bad grammar and jumping tenses. )

Kondou Masahiko, Shounentai, Hikaru Genji and others excluded because they debuted before I was born. Although some of their songs are really classics that people should try out.

After writing, I realized that instead of writing my personal experience with Johnnys, I wrote down my thoughts on Johnnys' history. So this turned into some sort of recap on what I learned and other bits of information that I thought interesting. I also kind of found out how much worse my neglected English skills have dropped, so I might start writing again recently to attempt at regaining some of that. *sweatdrops* Not sure what I can do with this, but it was fun. Not sharing this anywhere else in fear of fan!wank. This is probably only interesting to me anyway xD

Which means no TOKIO this countdown. *despairs*

No Taichi's funny faces, no KinKi Kids' ninja tactics (they're so good at disappearing!), no HAPPY BIRTHDAY KO-CHAN after countdown. Unless KinKi appears somewhere else, how else would we be able to greet Koichi-kun happy birthday? *cries* And no TOKIO at all. HOW IS IT NEW YEAR WITHOUT TOKIO?

Arashi, NEWS, Kanjani8 and KAT-TUN. Where did Hey!Say!JUMP disappear to? Akanishi has quite a few friends outside KAT-TUN, but aside from him KAT-TUN is like a world of their own. Nakamaru knows Masuda but they don't interact at all on stage, and the rest...just don't seem like friends. *cough* Probably know Kanjani8 a little too, but I don't pay attention to Osaka so I don't have a clue about that. MatsuJun's well acquainted (?) with Akanishi and Nishikido, and Ninomiya probably has a few friends, but the others all seem to be in a world of their own as well? And NEWS is in the middle of it all. They don't seem to try to get along with people but everyone knows them.

I WANT J-FRIENDS-!!

I get the whole merchandise thing, I do. I mean, it's obvious young people these days probably don't know that much about J-Friends. I don't, not really. So people would want to celebrate new years with celebrities they know of instead of the older ones, and the agency wants to focus on those ticket-buyers.

But the older generation actually all know each other and really seem like friends! *continues whining*

...And okay. Koichi said they would probably return to Tokyo Dome during 2009-2010 countdown. But what about the concert? New Year's Tokyo Dome has been KinKi Kids for so long. I don't mind if another band outside Johnny's take over, but if it's a 'younger' Johnny's group...I might start slaughtering NEWS fans. Like my cousin. Even if they're cute and she's really nice.

And Tackey&Tsubasa totally disappeared. They're not selling, but wiping them off the surface of Earth seems a little extreme, doesn't it? And Tackey's new solo album with cameo from Yamapi and Yokoyama and who the hell remembers else...Is like a gathering of guys who can't sing. Sorry, but. You know.

One day, I would be able to say KinKi Kids out loud in Taiwan without having to wince at the sound. My mom does it naturally, I should be able to. After I learn how to withhold the giggle.
